Francesca Gnagnarella X Ethel and Leo

Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to Francesca Gnagnarella’s beautiful apartment in North Fremantle, where she showcased her incredible art work with an amazing designer, Jess from Ethel and Leo.

The event started at 5 and when we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady who ticked our names off the list and sent us up ( I felt like such a celeb! my dream come true! ). We then went into the apartment where we were greeted by both very gorgeous and friendly Jess and Francesca.

What I liked about this exhibition was first of all it was held in an unusual venue (pretty cool to have it in a stunning apartment if you asked me!)  I asked Francesca why she held it in her apartment and would she be worried if people stole things (coming from South Africa, that’s always the first thing on my mind… theifs and crime)  and she said she wanted it in an apartment because with art pieces sometimes it is hard for people to visualise where they can put the pieces, so she wanted to show some of the best ways to show off her pieces.

I also liked how each room had a theme,  my favourite room was the geometric room, which showcased some of Francesca’s geometric pieces perfectly themed with one of Ethel and Leo’s amazing designs (if you scroll down, you will see some pics), another room was Chinese inspired with beautiful Chinese furniture and paintings and an outfit which set the ambiance of the theme.

All in all it was a fabulous night! I really liked how even though both designers have different muses for their clothing/pieces they complimented each other really well!

here are some pics 🙂

Thanks again for the amazing night Jess and Francesca 🙂 I enjoyed meeting you and some of Perth’s best bloggers
